Apps from Actual Concepts are designed to provide interactive education through fun.

A total of 26 simulations available on all types of motion including concepts like relative motion and reference frames. This App helps in interactively exploring concepts of Motion, types of motion, Vectors, Resultant velocities and how gravity affects motion (The list of simulations and activities that can be performed on the simulations are given below).

Covers several practical applications of motion like chasing, reaction time to apply brakes in a traffic, experiencing relative motion, what takes it to win a race, trajectory of bombs released from a war plane, fireworks etc.,

Note : This version of the app is now available for complete offline usage.

The simulations are highly touch enabled and are designed game-like so that people would love to play around with the simulations and at the same time can gain a deeper understanding of Science concepts. At the same time these simulations raise the inquisitiveness and help to experiment and find solutions like - "Find out your reaction time in applying brakes to a car on seeing Red on traffic light and check how far you travel before you come to total rest?"

The simulations in this App are designed very carefully to mimic the real world scenarios. For example, you can make two cannons fire at each other varying the angle and speed of the balls to see where the collision of the canon balls happen. Then you can explore the physics behind this. It gives a Real Lab experience directly on your iPad!

Each simulation also has a detailed list of activities that can be performed on the simulation. Once the activity is performed you can verify your answers for the activities performed. You can perform various experiments using touch and alter several parameters like speed & angle.

Simulations and activities list in this App :
1. Displacement, velocity and acceleration - Set a car into motion and explore the displacement, velocity and acceleration graphs!
2. Reaction time and Deceleration - Apply brakes to your car on seeing red and see how far will you travel before you come to total rest. Explore how reaction time is calculated
3. Which one reaches first - Balls moving on different paths - Set the balls rolling on shorter and longer path but having slope...Which one do you think reaches first?
4. Motion of Center of Mass - When a complex shaped object is projected into the air, does any point on the mass take a parabolic path? Check out from this experiment
5. Projectile Motion - See the physics behind angry birds game.
6. Projectile Motion - Vertical velocity comparision - How do you compare the vertical component of velocity of a projectile to that of a freely suspended mass?
7. Canons fired at each other - Do they meet if aimed at each other?
8 Uniform circular motion -
9 Vertical circular motion - Explore this sim to find out how it is diff from vertical circular motion?
10 Circular Motion - Acceleration is perpendicular to Velocity - Play this game to keep the mass always on the screen...
11 Co-efficient of Restitution - vary elasticity and see how it effects the bounce of the ball.
12 Point on a disc exhibiting curve-linear motion - The classic example of curve-linear motion. See it in action!
13. Summation of vectors
14. Boat & River simulation - Understand relative velocity concepts.
15. Relative motion
16. Instantaneous speed
17. Instantaneous velocity
18. Rolling and slipping motion
